And We’re Back

After a short separation from my computer, due to a beer-drenched keyboard, we are once again reunited. New keyboard, please come quickly. In the meantime, lots has been happening.
Last Friday was another successful installment of Art Murmur- the somewhat smaller December crowd actually made for a much more pleasant time. Among the highlights this time were glowing photograhs and a sculptural piece that reminded me of being in a golden field of humming wind turbines: Barry Underwood and Oliver DiCiccio’s rhythmically modern Earth Engines, at Johansson projects until January 9th.
Another personal favorite was seeing friend Juniper Bauch and her amazing silver pieces, like the one pictured above. Her beautiful table can be seen among those nestled down the 23rd Street alley between Telegraph and Broadway.
This past weekend was also full of birthday celebrations- my older brother, my housemate, and this little lady are all winter babies! I feel like I get to eat twice the gargantuan amount of food normally consumed during the holidays, ugh.
But, ugh in a good way.
