Hump Day Inspiration: Perseid Meteor Shower

Did you see the Perseid meteor shower last night? Apparently early this morning was the peak of it, but shooting stars can most likely still be seen throughout the month of August. The name ‘Perseid’ refers to the seeming source of the meteor shower near the Y-shaped constellation Perseus, named after the badass Greek hero who slayed Medusa. This amazing flickr slideshow has me inspired to do some more midnight rooftop chillin, regardless of city lights or fog.
