Want More Live Music in Berkeley?

How awesome would it be to have another live music venue in Berkeley?! Pretty damn awesome, if you ask me.
If you want the UC Theater to become another reason why Berkeley rocks then help a girl out and holler at Leah Matanky, of such venerable institutions as the Fillmore and the Great American Music Hall. She’s gonna try and rally the troops this Thursday at a zoning meeting and appreciates all the public support she can get. The venue would be all ages, multi-genre, and most likely way cooler than Blake’s.
